SISPA is moving to SNO for the 2021-22 school year.

Desiring a platform that would allow for online contest submissions, the SISPA Executive Committee reached out to SNO on the advice of Dave Porecca, a member of the IJEA Board of directors.

According to Porecca, SNO offers website hosting to student press organizations in exchange for advertising their services to the group’s membership via ads on the website.

While there is still much to learn, director Cathy Wall feels that this will be a positive move for the organization.

“The Executive Committee has been talking about moving our contest entries online for several years. I’m excited to see it finally happening,” Wall said.
